News from the Lions
08-12.06.2026
Lions have this week.
We started our adventures by heading out for a stroll on a very important mission: collecting food for our hungry spiders.
We enjoyed peaceful candlelight rest, giving everyone a chance to recharge before our lively music session. The children sang enthusiastically, practiced their songs for the upcoming show, and gave us a little preview of the fantastic performance you can look forward to.
Of course, no week would be complete without plenty of creativity. We built impressive castles and towering structures, alongside a variety of arts and crafts activities that kept busy hands and imaginations hard at work.
Later in the week, we headed out to enjoy some bouncy excitement and playground fun; there, the energy levels somehow remained higher than we thought possible.
We were also delighted by the fantastic turnout for Helicopter Stories. The children's ideas sparked some brilliant storytelling, and with great stories came some truly outstanding improvised acting from our very own young performers.
Speaking of performers, we held not one but two dress rehearsals for tomorrow's show. Excitement is building, and the children cannot wait to share everything they have been working so hard on over the past few weeks.
Children explored their artistic side by creating their own 3D dancing figures. Creativity and choreography proved to be a winning combination.
Because our spiders and larvae received excellent care, we ended the week on a wonderful note by doing a release into nature. We said goodbye to our spiders and beautiful white moths as they returned to the great outdoors. We are getting very good at growing our own insects and repopulating nature!
It's been a week full of exploration, creativity, care and performance. We can't wait to see you all at the show.
Stay tuned for more adventures next week!
