News from Cubs

Dear friends, parents and grandparents,

Another week has passed, and it is time from us to tell you what we have learned!

This week was the end of our first unit. The Rainbow fish project is officially finished, and we are really thankful for all the new nice things that he taught us. To celebrate it we spent some time at the beginning of the week practicing all the songs and vocabulary we learned in the past month.

Moreover we did some fun and intersting activities during this week. The kids enjoyed mixing water, oil and food color to create sea world in a water bottle. The second experiment was to mix water and soap together to make some bubbles. The result of them really fascinated us!

The main theme of the “Rainbow Fish” story is sharing. Therefore our Cub friends made a little dramatization of the story and shared scales with everyone in the classroom. We loved to see the outcome of it!

This week we took advantage of the nice weather, so we went to play on the field nearby. There we learned how to throw and kick a ball and of course to run around.

On Friday we had a birthday party as well. One of our girlfriends turned 2 years old! The circle time this day was about her, looking at her baby pictures and enjoying the yummy snack she brought for us. She loved the poster we made for her!

Next week we’ll begin our next Unit which is “Čiperka the squirrel and his friends’’.

Until then we hope you all have a fun weekend!

You Cubs
