Dear parents, grandparents, and friends, greetings from the Cubs Group!

Welcome to the first week at the new Villa Luna in Avenir. The group formally known as the Owls is now named the Cubs group. This week the Cubs group began our new summer unit called “Who were the dinosaurs?.” It was an exciting week and we are excited to share all these new experiences with everyone in Avenir!

This week the children of the Cubs group got to explore the new school and playground. There are many new toys for everyone to play with!

Our little Cubs got to learn about the characteristics of different dinosaurs that existed a long time ago. Some had horns and some had long necks. It was very exciting for everyone to look at the different pictures of them!

This week our little Cubs got to play with our sensory dinosaur diorama. The children were able to move the dinosaurs through the sand and even make footprints. We love dinosaurs!

Next week we will continue our unit about “Who were the dinosaurs?”. See you all then!
