News from Bunnies

10.1.-14.1.2022

Dear parents, grandparents, and friends, greetings from the Bunnies Group!

This week in the Bunnies class we continued our unit titled “Polar Expedition.” We learned about the people, climate and landscape of the Arctic! We also made some binoculars, created our very own winter landscape and went on a winter expedition! Let’s take a look at what we did!

We began the week by learning about what the landscape is like in the Arctic. It is a very cold place with lots of snow and ice! We also learned that the Inuit people inhabit this cold continent.

Our little Bunnies wanted to go on a trip to the Arctic but first we had to make some binoculars! Everyone got to paint their binoculars the colour of their choice! Afterwards, we took a train and then an airplane to get to the Arctic where we saw many snowy mountains and Igloos!

This past week we got to design our very own winter landscapes! We had to use our fine motor skills to firstly paint our landscapes with ink and then use an invisible marker to draw beautiful snowflakes and winter landscapes!

This past week we celebrated the birthday of one of our new children, Valentina! Happy Birthday! We wish her all the best!

Next week we will continue with our unit titled “Polar Expedition.”

See you then!
