Dear parents, grandparents, and friends, greetings from the Bunnies Group!

This week in the Bunnies class we concluded our unit titled “Where Paper Kites Fly” and began our new unit titled “Can you Feel Christmas Coming.” Our little Bunnies built an autumn landscape, said goodbye to our paper kites and began learning about our five senses. Let’s take a look at what we did!

We began the week by going to the park and looking for all the autumn nature we had been learning about throughout our last topic. We also collected many things such as chestnuts, pinecones and acorns!

Once back at the school we looked at and sorted all the different autumn nature we had collected and learned about. Our paper kites have seen soooo much! Sadly, we had to say goodbye to them as we begin our new topic titled “Can you Feel Christmas Coming.”

This past week our little Bunnies made a beautiful landscape of our autumn nature. Everyone had to use their fine motor skills to paint and glue the different items we collected onto our landscape.

This past week we celebrated the 3rd birthday of Herbert. Happy Birthday, buddy!

Our new topic “Can you Feel Christmas Coming” centers around experiencing Christmas through all our five senses. Therefore, we started to learn what our five senses are! We use our noses to smell!

Next week we will continue our new topic “Can you Feel Christmas Coming” and learn about our sense of touch.
