News from Bunnies

19.7.-23.7.2021

Dear parents, grandparents, and friends, greetings from the Bunnies Group!

This week we continued our new summer unit titled” Olympic Games”. We learned all about the differences between healthy and unhealthy foods, painted with milk and learned about why our heart is important.

We began the week by learning about what Olympic athletes eat. Do they eat healthy or unhealthy foods? Does eating pizza make you strong? Our little Bunnies had to use their logic skills to figure out which foods make you a good athlete and which foods don’t.

Red, Blue, Black, Green and Yellow. These are the colours that make up the Olympic rings. This past week our little Bunnies mixed these colours together with milk to come up with some new colours! We love to paint!

Having a strong heart is important if you want to be an Olympic athlete. This past week our little Bunnies got to do an experiment where we could measure our heartbeats. We first felt our hearts in a resting position. Then we did some exercises and afterwards felt our hearts again. Let’s keep our hearts healthy and strong!

Next week we will continue our unit on the “Olympic Games.”

See you then!
