News from Cubs

15-19.2.2021

Dear parents, grandparents and friends,

Greetings from the Cub class! Welcome back to another week with us.

This week started with a brand-new project here at Villa Luna, “A journey around the world”. We took our cars and travelled to Africa those last days. There, our little friend Simba took us on a safari trip where we met Lion, Zebra and Giraffe. Simba showed us how these animals act out and we tried to imitate the sounds they make and how they move around. Furthermore, since we are going to travel a lot this month, we will learn the main means of transport. This week, we learned about cars, the wheels they have, we even made our own car, drove fast slowly, right, and left in the classroom.

The weather is getting better and better every day, so we could not miss the opportuityn to spend as much time as possible outside. Besides our garden, this week we went on some walks as well. Observed the nature around us, how the snow is melting, counting cars passing by and spotting the colours they have. The field close to the school is a perfect place to play, run and kick some balls.

As every week, we enjoyed spending time in the gym, practising on our gross motor skills. This time we started doing some yoga positions as well. Friday is the last day in the continent of Africa. On Monday we’ll be traveling all the way to Asia, by our favourite “Chouchou” train.

That’s all for now. Hope you enjoyed the week as much as we did!

Have a lovely weekend!

Your Cub Team
