Dear parents, grandparents and friends,
Many greetings from the Cub class!
This was the last week of our second project “Where Paper Kites fly”. It was a fun and exciting week here in Villa Luna and in Cub’s class! We got to learn about autumn animals and their size, used our fine motor skills to create the last bow for our Paper Kite to finish our Unit art project and practiced our gross motor skills as every Thursday at the gym.
We began the week by introducing to kids three animals we see during the months of autumn, bear, hedgehog, and rabbit. Little Cubs got to compare all of them, which one is the biggest? And which one is the smallest? In the end we sorted pictures of each animal to the toy animal we have in our class.
This past week we celebrated St. Martin’s Day! During our circle time we spoke about how kind and generous he was, and that sharing is caring! In the end of our circle, we all had our little lantern parade around our school following the light from the little candles. Little Cubs loved to see the bright light coming from the candles.
This is all for now! Next week we are going to say bye-bye to our Paper Kite and we are going to start our new project, “ Can you feel Christmas coming?”. We are all excited to start the Christmas project and an email will be sent with all the information about the project.
Have a lovely weekend!
