Week 5.9 -9.9 in Lions.
Where is the Red Crayon?
Hello friends! Welcome to the first project of the school year 2022-2023 “ Crayon goes to School “
We have started this nice project, with our Opening Ceremony, on Monday, and children got to know the new Pre schoolers, their new friends, and teachers.
Lions has been busy, walking around the schools surroundings, in order to get familiar with the new environment. We visited different playgrounds, and children could also set up some safety and cooperative rules during walks and physical activities out side.
The Red Crayon, is one of our characters of the project, who will motivate the children to adapt to their new routines, environment, class, friends and teachers. Our Lions, shared with this new friend, the Red Crayon, watermelon in the dining hall, and showed him how to behave while we are having our meals. Little lions practiced some fine motor skills, crafting nice red crayons. They cut, and painted them using sponges!
Gross motor activities has been part of our first week, Lions were practicing basic positions of the whole body, like: standing, Kneeling, lying on the back in the gym and at Central Park where Lions love to climb, and experiment new challenges for their strong bodies!
