Week 28.2.-4.3.2022 in the Fox Group

"What happens on the other side of the Earth, when we go asleep?"

Dear parents, grandparents and friends,

greetings from the Fox group!

This week we went on with our story of The Little Prince and met characters drunkard (person who drinks and eats a lot of sweets), bussinessman (who do not share anything) and lamplighter (who does not think about what he is doing). We thought together what are their characters about and if we would like to be friends with them.

 We learned about planets Mars, Jupiter and Saturn: Which is big, which is small and which has a ring around it? Which colors do they have and why there is nobody living there?

In our activity centres we had an oportunity to create the planets with different materials, throw small planets into a basket and we tried to hold holahoop on our body like a ring around Saturn.

The highlight of the week was our Lego workshop with Vitek where we created a model of Earth, moon and sun and saw on our own eyes how the changing night and day work.
